The Apex at Moody Beach | Wells, ME

The Apex at Moody Beach in Wells, ME was a labor of love between the owners and Ketchum Interiors. Starting in February 2026, we worked with the owners to reconfigure and redesign the space for a modern beach vacation experience in Maine.

Using more modern touches per the owners request — we leaned into deep rich blues and greens and elevated each space with a guest-centric approach. From the little kiddo play tent and teen arcade games in the loft area, to the beautifully designed bedrooms with charging nightstands and local artwork — each space was thoughtfully designed to maximize space and function. We worked with existing furniture pieces the owners had purchased beforehand as well — and designed around them in a cohesive way.

Ketchum Interiors analyzed the spaces and added additional ideas like transforming a blank wall space into a small children's eating bar, outdoor privacy panels for the new deck to utilizing built-in cabinets offering extra touches like beach towels and a coffee bar. Durable design approaches include bedding, rugs and outdoor amenities.
